- 2 lbs of pork
- 6-8 eggs
- 2 tablespoon of oil
- 5-6 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 3 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 6 cloves garlic (crushed and finely chopped)
- 3 tablespoons of fish sauce

INSTRUCTIONS
- Hard boil eggs, remove shell, and set aside. Boil several cups of water and set aside.
- Put oil in pot over small flame until warm
- Add brown sugar to oil, keep on small flame and stir sugar until the sugar caramelizes (turns darkish brown)
- Add pork, turn heat to high while stiring vigorously to coat meat with sugar
- Add soy sauce, salt, and garlic cloves
- When pork starts to turn dark brown from sugar, add eggs on top of the pork (do not stir any further)
- Add fish sauce and boiling water (enough water to cover all of the pork and half of the eggs)
- Cover half of the pot, slowy turn eggs over (trying to keep from breaking them) until the water boils
- Lower the heat to medium temperature, push the pork from side to side (this motion will allow the eggs to become submerged below the water level)
- Let the pot stew for 20-25 minutes at medium heat
